For this project, I was contracted to create an initial design for a contemporary bedroom collection along with several other pieces to extend other parts of an existing collection to reflect a newly-proposed finish and hardware combination. There were ~8 shots done per piece to highlight the various aspects of each design, though the proportions and finish were not reflected in the final form.
Per usual, I was contracted to design, create 3D models, and do 3D rendering of each piece seen here as well as complete a minimally-intensive lifestyle shot to showcase the designs. To keep the project on schedule and under budget I used existing assets and room environments I had, though I did have to create a table lamp from scratch (shown here.)
Designs were sketched in AutoCAD, imported and modeled in 3DS Max, textured and rendered with V-Ray, and post-processing was done via Photoshop and, for the lifestyle shot, also ArionFX tonemapping tools from Random Control.
